The woman in the Room Mary Katrantzou Fall 2011
Intricate, dynamic, limitless art on the female form. "Katrantzou imagined the woman as a connoisseur, surrounded by objects of beauty like Fabergé eggs, Meissen porcelain, cloisonné enamel, and Ming vases." Each garment telling the story of an object that may have once only existed as stagnant, now floating through space in movement and grace. "I want to push print to the limit."
