Metamorphosis...

Where do we come from? Where are we going? If this earthly form that we have come to embody is just that, no more then a body, then where did the soul that exists within it arrive from...
The word "metamorphosis" derives from Greek μεταμόρφωσις, "transformation, transforming", from μετα- (meta-), "change" + μορφή (morphe) "form". "It is a biological process by which an animal physically develops after birth or hatching, involving a conspicuous and relatively abrupt change in the animal's body structure through cell growth and differentiation."
So if we evolve from a primary physical being, and if we descend through that same being in different form, will the non-physical always remain? That element that allowed for change from the beginning, and must have existed in some form all along, can be seen as no less then a fascinating reaction enabling the beauty of metamorphosis to continue to remain...
