ORANGE NYC...

When it comes to fashion, minimalism can be a scary thing. It takes a well seasoned, talented and detailed designer to understand how minimalism really works. Aligning structure, cut, color and textile into a garment that may be considered simple, but at the same time looks exquisitely original, takes a trained eye. Vancouver designer Angela Chen sees into and executes this rare vision with ease. After graduating from Parsons The New School of Design in NYC and launching her first collection for ORANGE in 2007, Chen has gone on to dress many of fashion's most influential muses and mavens.
