Every once in awhile, a model, a celebrity, a muse, becomes known to the world for not necessarily their talent or accomplishments, but simply for their unconventional, incomparable, undeniable beauty and often otherworldly looks. Now these women and men may be few and far between, but none the less they exist, and when we see them we can't help but fall victim to their captivating appeal. I could start an extensive list but one of these such beauties brought me to silence today in a random click through of images. Lily Cole has graced the fashion scene as a sought after and rare find. Her look is that of a porcelain doll mixed with an exquisite exotic creature that may even not be known to man yet. It is unlike a look that I for one have seen before, and doubt to see again. It is captivating, questioning and purely her own and it makes me wonder, when she looks at herself in the mirror, is her thought process as scrutinizing and judgemental as the average Jane? Does she understand the power of the beauty she possesses? Or is she another "porcelain doll" in a make-believe world, that may not be real at all...
