The fashion industry has forever been victim of questionable, yet realistic, scrutiny. In an empire that exist on image and aesthetics alone, there is never a safe place to hide from the power of words that exists over the power of looks. Whether it is size, color, height, width or length, ever aspect is examined and critiqued. This however, is a reality that we embrace and except knowing that it alone is the reason for our industries existence. That being said, it is undeniably refreshing when we are exposed to the bare, raw and real images that have taken to various editorials and publications in recent accounts. Celebrities and models sans make-up and facades. To be able to witness in fashion what the rest of us witness every time we wake up or go to sleep at night is often where the most engaging images lie.
