Mango Fashion Awards has found a win in Wisharawish Akarasantisook. The 30 year old Thai designer rocks the design scene pulling inspiration from his theme of existentialism.
“After the death of my father I returned to Thailand and took inspiration from the Buddhist temples where I was able to analyse the relationship between life and death with nature. The collection is full of detail and handmade pieces”
Pieces inspired by wildlife, reincarnation and the Thai cutlure, are paired with diverse proportions and intricate details. The translation of the concept is so thoroughly received that there is no questions to the craftsmanship and talent behind the designs.
