I read this today, and unfortunately know not who the author is or would provide due credit. It was so simple, so sweet, so encompassing of that feeling of simply wanting Love.
"They loved each other, not driven by necessity, by the 'blaze of passion' often falsely ascribed to Love. They loved each other because everything willed them to. The trees and the clouds and the sky over their heads and the earth under their feet. Perhaps their surrounding world, the strangers they met in the streets, the wide expanses they saw on their walks, the rooms in which they lived or met, took more delight in their love than they did themselves."
Accompanied by a beautiful and whimsical compilation by Dimitris Petrou for Oeros Spring/Summer 2011. This is the essence of Summer Love...
