It feels like the arguable discussion of versatility and practicality of the female jumpsuit has been around for as long as we have been contemplating the versatility and practicality of ponchos, Uggs or legwarmers... forever! But once again the unforgiving, often unflattering, childlike resembling, but strangely intriguing, uni-ensemble has risen again. Whether casual and sporty of dramatic and dressy, it seemed almost every S/S 2010 runway had a take on the jumpsuit and somehow made it seem just some what more desirable then the jumpers of the past...

and jewelery (LowLuv) designer under her belt, she has paved her own path and shown that true beauty shines from within. Her edgy disposition, her intelligence and her exquisite look are characteristics that cannot ever be artificially created...

Central Saint Martin...




















For an Acadamy that is renowned for producing the most talented, and artistically masterful, designers in the industry, it is easy to see why imagination and passion are two of the key elements to creating that success. Central Saint Martins Fall 2010 performance, composed by 22 graduating hopefuls, was sensational to say the least for a group that is considered but rookies in the world of fashion design. "This cohort likes geometry, flat planes of matte fabric, and pleating. They sculpt 3-D shapes in tailoring and jersey, knit raffia into amazing volumes, and push silhouettes to new attenuated-ly elegant proportions." The inspiration is unavoidable when seeing talent exposed in such an innovative and engaging display...
