For an Acadamy that is renowned for producing the most talented, and artistically masterful, designers in the industry, it is easy to see why imagination and passion are two of the key elements to creating that success. Central Saint Martins Fall 2010 performance, composed by 22 graduating hopefuls, was sensational to say the least for a group that is considered but rookies in the world of fashion design. "This cohort likes geometry, flat planes of matte fabric, and pleating. They sculpt 3-D shapes in tailoring and jersey, knit raffia into amazing volumes, and push silhouettes to new attenuated-ly elegant proportions."
