Anna-Wili...

I am constantly looking for emerging and innovative methods of design and art. I admire those artist who step outside the realms of normalcy and experiment with the materials and mediums that tend to go unnoticed. When I saw these paper sculptures by Anna-Wili I had to share. Anna, based in Sydney, currently "makes sculptures of animals from torn paper and copper pipes" by sewing together each piece into these beautiful creatures. Recently, she was showcased in the Anthropology Museum of New York and has gained wide spread recognition throughout her native Australia. Check out the images and link below...
