"Dandy Diane"...

I am continuously a sucker for vintage black and white, a throw back to when classic and contemporary were the epitome of classy, when women were noticed more for their physical beauty then the hair, the make-up and the wardrobe that could mask up any personal flaws or short comings. Hence, I was overly excited to see the cover and inner spread of Vogue Germany's April 2010 edition. Ethereal beauty Diane Kruger poses for the lens of photography/design genius, Karl Lagerfeld, in a fittingly masculine (or as the Germans say "durch Garconne-Looks") set of outfits that would please the retro enthusiast in all of us. Greta Garbo meets Ingrid Bergman with the styling of Clark Gable and Humphrey Bogart, love it...
