Love for Bailey

In what will be a show to remember, fashions most elite flocked to the showing of the Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2010 show in London yesterday. The show was a commencement of London Fashion Weeks 25th anniversary and proved both a spectacle and a success to mark the occasion. The celebrity attendance spanned from the "Make or Break Mogul", Anna Wintour, to Burberry model and muse, Emma Watson and legendary supermodel, Twiggy. However, the real stars were the unusually "un-Burberry" garments that graced the runway. Burberry freshface, Christopher Bailey, stepped away from previous collections accessorized with studs and steal and previewed a much more airy, fluid, feminine and graceful line. Cinched in waists, voluminous shoulders and curve embellishing draping took center stage in the custom built arena. It is shows like this that have us waiting in anticipation for the passing of Winter and the return of what looks to be a fashion fabulous Spring!
